One of the soldiers in the video is Kane Te Tai. Sadly KIA about a month ago. He was accompanied home by a Ukrainian comrade and was buried with his people by his people about a week ago. There are videos on you tube of parts of his very moving funeral. He died a hero doing what is right and will be forever remembered by his family and friends and by the entire country, along with our other heroes, on ANZAC day every 25th April. RIP Kane. I'm sorry you have paid the ultimate price for your bravery. Also, for anyone insisting he has an Australian flag on his shoulder, stop the video at 2:58. It is a New Zealand flag - argue all you want about the colour of the stars but there is NO Commonwealth star and that makes it a New Zealand flag. Kane Te Tai is a New Zealand Māori who left from Aotearoa/ New Zealand to fight in Ukraine. The reason there are so many kiwi in here commenting is because we saw him before he left. The reason so many Aussies and kiwi are commenting that IT IS A NEW ZEALAND flag is because we know what our flags look like.

The reason many, many, many Western countries support Ukraine is because Ukraine is a sovereign nation and has been invaded by a neighbouring country with hostile intent. That russia is killing and torturing captured soldiers AND civilians as well as kidnapping Ukranians and taking them to russia are war crimes and just make us more and more determined that russia is in the wrong. I like how you really include the waiting game to your videos and the fog of war unlike other channels that try to just cut everything to get to the action. After all, that waiting part in this video is most of war and this channel is definitely made to show what it feels like to be a soldier. I believe the other soldier is Kane Te Tai. Killed in action towards the end of March. Sadly, the 3rd New Zealand volunteer known to have been killed in Ukraine. Two were soldiers and one was an aid worker. He and the others died for what is right and, for many of us here, are heroes. Kane had another reason to fight in Ukraine as, from what l understand, his fiancée is Ukranian. I don't know how long the link will stay up but, he was laid to rest here in Aotearoa/ New Zealand 5 days ago. I'll post it separately to my comment so they won't both be removed.

Ngl, this was probably the most fascinating vid so far, in terms of the 'silence then violence' side of war. Those last 15 minutes or so, you apologised that not much happened - in fact, it was one of the most involved pieces of combat audio I've ever listened to - that abrupt ripple of small-arms fire near the end where you wondered if it was one or both of those combatants losing their lives was both compelling and tragic at the same time. Thats a kiwi accent, I think its Kane Te Tai who was killed 20th march. And buried here last week ? He was a fierce warrior .The orcs had a bounty on him.

The soldier with the New Zealand patch seems to be Kane Te Tai, the Kiwi soldier who was sadly killed on March 20 in Vuhledar. May he rest in peace.

This war is all about US making money. And Im not talking about selling weapons. The whole goal of the US is to cut off western Europe from buying oil so that they would have to buy from the US directly. And where would the US get this oil? Well it was suppose to be from three sources: Syria (which the US is currently stealing), Iraq and the failed Keystone pipeline. Why Syria and Iraq? Because if the US were to oust Assad, they could build a pipeline to ship oil from Iraq through Syria and to the Syrian coast. Why is that important? Because it would cut out traveling through the Persian Gulf and around Africa saving huge amounts of money and time through the Mediterranean Sea.

Great work by the brave men and women from multiple countries volunteering in Ukraine. I watch these videos because my brother who is currently an army national guard previously active duty Army served two tours in Afghanistan so it gives me a little better idea of what exactly they have to endure during these times of conflict.

For all they know, an enemy sniper could be in there. In that case, they'd have no chance. The first bullet would almost certainly kill one of them. Their life could end at any moment.

I don't know what's more terrifying, clearing enemies trenches or fighting house to house. I guess it doesn't matter much, you always have to have a clear mind and watch out for everything possible. Maybe calming down and have a rest after several hours on the battleground, recognizing what was happen (boobie traps,killings,dead bodies,shelling,owns losses....), is the most terrifying thing for a soldier. The who can't seperate himself from what he had to experience, suffer the most and, after some month, gets broken. I hope you and your comrades are doing well and stay alive, mate!!
