Make sure you can always access the shocks in the rear. In case you need to replace them or do an upgrade, you should make like a small detachable panel there. Also make sure it's a bit higher than your bed floor, in case new shocks are taller ...

I'd love to see you put out more content. I think you're off to a great start and this project is awesome! If you come up to a stumbling block on the build, make a 2-3 minute video showing the issue and let the comments help you, even if they're nothing more than a muse to get you the idea you need. Can't wait to see more of this build!

Gonna need an access panel for the fuel pump also. Dropping the tank for a fuel pump would suck.
@mumleysgarage71444 ай бұрын
Next video will show how that will work! 😬

to add to Accordrivers comment be sure you can also access the fuel pump. i put a door in my Altima truck to access that.

Hey brother, I’m just glad to see the videos. It’s a cool project to follow. We all have lives and know how builds go (or at least should if you’ve ever built something). So when you’re able to post I’ll be watching.

You’re making great progress, I’m intrigued to see the end result. Nice work on the B-pillar and capping off the sides, looks like you’ll have a decent little truck when you’re done. A quick suggestion, perhaps maybe you could add underfloor storage accessible from the inside to shove the stuff you only need occasionally.
@mumleysgarage71444 ай бұрын
It’s a thought! Next video will show some stuff like that, I’ll take your input into consideration!!

It’s looking really good so far, I noticed that you have no access to the strut towers and spare tire due to everything being fully welded.

Unless you’re going to turn that daily into a pickup truck. lol. This is very cool stuff. Definitely would’ve loved to see much more of the entire build. My advice is find another civic hatch and start over. Now that you’ve hooked a certain audience.

This is a great project, it is going to be real cool when completed. I would have made the floor lower and make it so you access to under the floor if you need to get in there.
@mumleysgarage71444 ай бұрын
Floor was going to be lower but it caused a lot more work, maybe if I do another one I’ll fix a lot of small issues
