I’m another one looking forward to this build. My Blade Silver ‘89 Si is languishing away in long term storage. I’ve got a crap ton of parts I bought that and have yet to install - Fastbrakes big brake kit, rear disc conversion from a ‘90 Si, EX master cylinder, 4040 prop valve, lots of NOS OEM parts. A few months ago I even dug out my OEM louvers and found the original mounting hardware. Seth’s meticulous builds are an inspiration and will eventually force me to get my project going again.

Awesome find bro. Just some advice from a guy who has multiple projects going on at one time. Finish the Type R swap first. You'll thank me later. That way you can not only be able to move it, you'll also have that peace of mind knowing that it's done. Just trying to help save your mental state from getting overwhelmed.

You know its bad when the passenger seat has bolster wear haha. That thing is rough but sadly cleaner then most you see now days. It’s painful in the walk around to see things wrong on every side you look at. Leaving it struggling to idle while shooting that was a nice touch

For a good dash, you best look here in Europe, as we don't usually have cracked dashboards due to lack of sun and temperature. I feel the same about the EG’s! I would love to do some of those, especially since they seem to be more common. My first car was an EG. Maybe I’ll eventually do one. My issue is there aren’t as many people hoarding and parting out EG’s like there are CRX’s. So finding parts would be more challenging for me. My resources are EF specialized.

You know what would be pretty cool/interesting, swapping a double d (dohc zc) into it (yeah yeah yeah, its an SI with what appears to be the factory vtec motor). Whatever you do I just gotta say, you are single handedly saving these amazing vehicles from inevitably being sent to the scrap yard to be crushed and thats awesome. Keep making these videos and we will keep watching.

No worries. It came with a 1.6 liter non-VTEC single cam engine. This one in it is out of a Civic VX or HX.

Japanese Si had the DOHC D16... such a sweet motor. But on those rare occasions you can consistently keep it over 6k the B16 wins, (apart from its cost).
