Saw it last week. I enjoyed it. I thought it would drive me into PTSD-like shutdown given the upcoming election and all that has happened in this country but it didn't do that. It's still a heavy movie. I typically don't care for Kirsten Dunst but I enjoyed her character as an old battle-grizzled photojournalist. She did a good job. I liked that they showed the journalists to be somewhat on the same spectrum as thrill seekers. You gotta be a bit twisted to pursue such news and capture the level of violence that's happening. Didn't care for the young photojournalist. It felt like she was there to be the dumb teenager that forgets to lock the door in a horror movie. Some of the scenes are dependent on her youthful brashness where some people wouldn't die had she not been....well....dumb. Otherwise everything else was quite solid.
