One was founded by members that left the other. Sabaton, some years ago, had a couple of its members depart and they later founded Civil War. The two do remain friendly and work together pretty often.

This is just my own interpretation of the lyrics, so I am probably wrong, but still: Regardless if a soldier fights for a nation/faction that comes out the winner in a war, there will be no "peace", "joy" or "utopia" following the end of a conflict - just more war and conflict in the future. For a soldier in an army, it's basically a waiting game in the military - train to fight, fight to win (or lose), survive, train again, repeat. Again, this is just my own interpretation of the lyrics. :-)

After the war is over, you have to bury people, rebuild destroyed areas, and help provide financial aide to civilians. Even if you win the Civil War families will still be divided and there isn't paradise in the aftermath of it.

It's open for discussion really. I kinda think it like a tribute to all metal. The Fans (The army without uniforms). It appears like the lyrics to this particular song is just a series of sentence fragments strung together by a beat to make a song. It is a good sound, it is a good beat, but ultimately the lyrics are fragmented and there is no real​ coherent storytelling process going on. The listener has to superimpose a story by assuming/taking on a context, and even then its dubious as to how well that works. IMO, of course.
