in TSD , we are unable to do complicated models (slabs)

We can do that too, however according to Indian environment it needs be developed more. You can learn more in our classes. To join our professional training, click here : forms.gle/Yy9j8BH8zZzmFfZMA For any query Call on: 8433248864 WhatsApp: +91 8433248864 Email: team@civilcenter.in

You can design same building in both software, i think etab results are more accurate and give economical design and for drawing generation it can easily transfer in staad RCDC software.

Have you worked on both the software?

In TSD i didn't find base shear value in the report. So, where is the calculation for base shear is done both for static and dynamic analysis

what about TSD vs SAP2000
@ainaabiodunekundayoaina27023 жыл бұрын
SAP2000 is a superipor software .... better than both Tekla and TSD

Which one to learn to get job quickly ? ETabs or Tekla?
@CIVILCENTER4 жыл бұрын
None, knowledge about practical use of software matters most, software is just a tool to make our work easier and in less time. Having said that, the scope of Engineers skilled in Tekla has been on the rise

@arif pasha I know how to use both very well and to me etabs is far better compaired to Tekla. For detailing part, Tekla is better

When I compare the results between ETABS and TSD, the axial force on the columns are the same, the problem is with the moment. Even while using the exact same stiffness modification factors, still there is a difference between the two in moment values on the beams. I’m using 0.7 for columns, 0.35 for beams,
