In this video Er. Akash Bohare corporate trainer of Civil Guruji explaining about the various details of BBS of beam in which we will understand how and what is the reason for beam reinforcement placing.
In BBS of Beam you will also get to know about different position in which bars are placed. according to its positioning bars are named as:
1) Top Main Bar
2) Bottom Main Bar
3) Top Extra Bar
4) Bottom Extra Bar
5) Stirrups
While Calculating top extra bar we need to understand how the bars are being placed by reading the drawing in a proper manner.
About BAR BENDING SCHEDULE:
1) BAR BENDING SCHEDULE gives the detailed information about type of bar, size of bar, cutting length of bar, quantity of bar etc.
2) BAR BENDING SCHEDULE saves the wastage of steel and saves the project cost.
3) BAR BENDING SCHEDULE helps in making detailed Estimation.
FRESHER CIVIL ENGINEER must understand the importance of site visit in their Training Duration.
Site visit plays a very crucial role like :
Basic knowledge about building material in site visit
Basic knowledge about handling labour in site visit.
Basic knowledge about machinery in site visit.

Shear is not zero at point of contraflexure. Shear is zero at maximum bending moment. Mathematically, when we differentiate BM , we get shear force.

It depends on the moment due to bending comes on the beam, according to which area of steel required is calculated and finally decide the dia of the steel which is sufficient....if u use same dia of bar no. Of bars will be increased and vice versa.
