i gasped when i saw an iwtv edit to this song - it's so very armand and you did SUCH a beautiful job with it. looked at your channel to see if you'd done any more cool iwtv edits and saw that you had done the witchsickness locked tomb animatic, which is one of my favorites ever in the fandom and introduced me to that song. less than an hour ago i was listening to witchsickness thinking about iwtv. full fucking circle.

Wait...couldn't figure out why Armand didn't want to save Louis. is this it?>>>> As scriptwriter Armand could have had both Claudia and Louis pardoned. But the coven gave him a choice between the coven and his two new outsider friends. And he chose the coven he had known for 200 years. Then Lestat went and saved Louis to Armand's surprise, they put him in the filing cabinet, Armand out of guilt set him free. Louis killed the coven and Armand had to take him back. So they left town. Do I have it right yet? You need a calendar and a lot of diagrams for this series.

I think yeah, that's what happened. There's also the factor that Louis was lestat's ex and also killed him. Armand was fascinated by lestat, so he probably felt jealous or hurt bc of that mess Louis had with lestat. So Armand couldn't let Louis just run away from Paris. But Louis didn't want to run anyway, so... Claudia is another story. But when lestat saved Louis, Armand saw an opportunity to destroy his coven which he was tired of and to have someone to love, to build his life around. So he saved Louis.

Armand and this music is perfection! My beautiful, tragic vampire. He is my favorite in the show and my second favorite (first is Lestat) in the vampire chronicles book. Assad did justice to my Armand. I can't wait for his spin-off. I don't care for Lestat in the show because that version of my prince is awful, not sorry.

I just wish Sam was perfect as Lestat like Assad was, but he wasn't. I still think Tom Cruise's Lestat is, and will ALWAYS be the best!
