I'm guessing that he has some hefty combat bonus or some ability to capture free cities, making him advantageous to use in dramatic ages mode. And that he has some troop production bonus during the industrial era, his own industrial era unique unit which may replace the regular iron clad or line infantry. He might also have an additional diplomatic slot or something. Just spitballing. I'm thinking if they add Washington he could have a unique musketman with a combat bonus that makes them stronger than line infantry when attacking for woods, rainforest, and hills. Washington could have a bonus towards loyalty when achieving combat victories with a unique general he gets when discovering Mercantilism or maybe Rifling. Washington also automatically gets monarchic legacy for free when switching to merchant republic.

@@Kozkayn Not necessarily. Plenty of the leaders in the game have their powers changed to suit DLC, like for example if you're Gilgamesh your power changes if you are on Heroes and Legends mode. Georgia's changes on Dramatic Ages mode

Here's a unique ability idea. Every net negative city loyalty point generates political favors. It won't prevent civil wars, but skirting open rebellion will give very powerful diplomatic bonuses.

I'm going to be that guy and say: Abraham likely didn't sound like that. We associate him with a baritone voice, but he was more high pitched in timbre. Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln was a much closer representation and he obviously researched Lincoln a lot before landing where he did. Not sure how much Spielberg had to do with the accuracy, but anyway, I digress. For the purpose of video games however, especially ones in which you're playing nations that conquer nations, it's probably a better bet to go with the voice that will be easier to listen to for much longer hours of play and "just one more turn". So I understand the choice.
