Can do like this? 10/9.7 = 1.030. I.e 1.030*1000 = 1030 cm

Sir if scale changes the how can b calculate the revised scale in shrinkage factor plz explain by another numericals
@CivilModules5 жыл бұрын
I think you are asking, How to calculate new scale/ revised scale by shrinkage factor concept? Plz correct me if I'm wrong. This concept is applicable wherever we are changing the scale of a plan or map. For example: In Plan A, the length of the side of a building is 5 cm (on the plan) and In Plan B, the length of the side of the SAME building is 10 cm. Now suppose Plan A = original scale 1:10000 (given) Plan B = Revised scaled (to be calculated) To convert Plan A to B : (10/5)* scale of Plan A If you want to convert Plan B to A then.... (5/10)*scale of Plan B Hope this helps!

Q. A surveyor measure the distance bw two points and mark on a plan drawn to a scale of 1cm=1m. Later he finds the scale used by him is wrong i.e. 1cm=50m. Determine the correct length what would be the correct area if measured area is 80msq.

sir you din't told here why should we divide the whole answer by 10,000 in the last step while calculating the area??
@CivilModules3 жыл бұрын
In the last step, answer was in cm2 ...to convert it into m2 , just divide the answer by 10000...as 1 cm2 = (1/100)2 m2
