I like to see some uniqueness in their designs. I'm surprised this wasn't more popular. Personally, this would be perfect if they put a forward finger choil on it and... For the love of God, give it something other than a bead blast finish. Preferably a nice belt satin. But I'd settle for a stonewash finish since it seems to be en vogue. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I agree that the price is too high. But I didn't let that stop me from grabbing one for review. The reason why? It's simply because the design is so attractive. I chose the red/black G10 version and look forward to reviewing it. I think the ivory G10 combined with the diamond milled pattern and satin/bead blast frame finish look really classy. I would love to see this combo with a Ti frame and a little more premium blade steel.

I love this knife so much that I accidently ordered 2 and I'm having trouble sending one back ! Out of the last 20 knives I have bought this is my favorite! Now please add button lock !

The Civivi is alright but I'm going to need to pick up a Ritter Hogue. I just bought a Sig K320 AXG Classic and I became a huge Hogue guy overnight. Out of my recent purchases, which include a CruWear PM2, CF AD20.5 and aluminum M390 Bugout, I think the Sig with its boring S30V might actually be my favorite. The blade has such a nice grind on it, nearly a mirror polish, and the ergos are damn near perfect for me. Hogue is doing great work and I love buying Made in USA.

I have to wonder how well the scales will react with dies. This in a nice blue or whatever, would be nice. Blade shape isn't my favorite but the fuller sure makes it suit the knife.

Speaking of James Brand. I saw the Carter with Damasteel and it was like $1200. Or over. It just came out. Crazy. You can get customs or semi custom knives for that. No way anyone is buying that. As far as this Civivi, I love it. I RIT dyed the white inlays steel grey though. Turned out nice.

I just got the red one of those coolest knife I've ever had. I just started collecting a week and a half ago and already have six knives. I have three others. Bye. The same company which are decent, the elemental and a couple others, but this one is by far the best. Can you suggest any other knives with a frame lock is covered the same way? That's what I liked about this the most and the action. And some other knives. Since I'm new to this I mean I've heard of Benchmade and microtech and. Just wondering some other suggestions. Thank you!

It seems like Kizer and Civivi are pushing themselves into the midrange territory. They do a nice enough job to hang there, but I agree that this would have been a homerun at 65 to 70 dollars.

Define "awful". If you mean "more aggressively textured" (I.E. "smooth is better") - that's a preference. Not a universal truth.
