I like everything about this .... except the need to use a tool to replace the blade. Utility knives need to have quick releases for easy blade swaps. Sadly, it's a deal breaker for me.

I’m guessing you won’t be alone in that being a deal breaker, it will be interesting to see if they go back to the drawing board on how the blade swap works for version 2 (assuming there is a version 2). Thanks for checking it out!

Green my favorite color I’m definitely going to get one in the future but I’m grateful you shared this honestly it’s the first I’ve seen in review. But the only thing I kind of wished they did something easier than the button head screw to hold in the blade. But thanks for sharing it. 8:31

I'm not a fan of the standard Elementum because of the flipper. It is strange they don't use hot-swap jank since that's so convenient. Green looks great though, and I like the thumb studs

For sure, as easy as flippers are to use, I hate that they get in the way when open. And yeah, that blade swap is definitely its biggest weakness. Thanks for checking it out my friend!

+1 for flipperless. The flipper tab is unnecessary and just gets in the way. They could have flattened it and put gimping there like the Kizer Towser. As you say, it would have given a safer choke-up grip, which would have made sense with the shorter handle.

@uncommonedc have you noticed the screw coming loose and the blade falling or flying out. I want to get one but keep hearing mixed reviews on this

I haven’t run into that issue yet but wouldn’t surprise me as I know the Otacle has a similar blade swap screw that people have had that issue with. So far so good for mine though.

I don't really have a good folder, but I vprefer utility knives and this looks like a good design, thanks for reviewing. However, I still like my TiRant Razer over all the options available so far.

They should have snuck a allen key or something in there to let you change the blade. Thats the biggest selling point of utility blades
