The best music i ever heard was clifton playing at Jays i think it was near cankton....1982.... little nightclub...maybe 50 people there...he and cleveland played 3 hours straight...no break...He was unbelieveable....Buckewheat was good...but clifton was in a different league....all to himself...@@gunboom

i played with Big hat man thomas fields band...we played at slims...saw clifton at blue angel....and we played i forget the name of the zydeco club in mamou...the place i think burnt down...an old guy owned it...and he had a dog roam the dance floor...which leaned way to the right....lol.@@gunboom

i was there for the good days... Beau Jocque...we played at boo zoo's house in dog hill.... he was a kind of strange guy...john delephose at the end was playing fantastic...saw him a week before he died.
