That's what's great about N.Z., there's so much to do and see, besides Middle Earth locations! I've got a Serious problem with heights, but I'd suck it up for those adventures 🤣👍. 🖖😎🤘🇨🇦🍻

As I stayed in Auckland in June,2006, I took a bus for Rotorua but it was Queen's birthday so there were very few shuttle buses between Rotorua city centre and Hell's gate so I took a taxi instead. I first walked in Hell's gate then had a mud bath as well as ye did. I would love to go there again to stay in Rotorua at least for two days. cheers

Upon discovering mud baths for the first time, I recalled encountering hot springs in Chitral, northern Pakistan, where nearby hotels have redirected this water into their swimming pools and bath showers. Initially, it might seem unusual, but after a few minutes, it feels like a full-body massage. While I practice this in the summer, I believe it would be even more enjoyable in the winter.

Redwood forest looks beautiful both daytime and at night. Rotorua definitely great location for outdoor pursuits and good on you Charlotte, you’re very brave! ❤

Thanks Tracy! Such a great experience. The platforms in the trees are constructed and hung in a way that doesn’t affect the trees at all as well, which is so cool and clever!! I can’t believe she jumped from that platform to be honest!! But she did it 🤩
