As the National Working President of AIl India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz, I Shariq Adeeb Ansari wholeheartedly respect the Supreme Court's judgment on the status of AMU's minority character. However, as an individual citizen, I feel a sense of sorrow, as this decision does not seem to serve the best interests of the community or the nation. It is high time that Aligs move away from a camp mentality, and the broader Muslim community steps out of the persecution complex. Instead, we must focus on aligning ourselves with the national mainstream, contributing to both our community and the nation’s progress. The failure to do so over the years has unfortunately reduced our alma mater to a localized, self-serving institution-one that lacks the vision and strategy needed to address the challenges of the 21st century.

@@Skdon7860 there is no restriction of any non Muslim to study in AMU, there are almost 38% of Hindi students study in AMU, minority status is needed because AMU is not only university for Muslims it's emotion, it preserve so many history of Indian Muslims as it is backwards in modern education, AMU is built by sir syed for upliftments of Muslims society in education, Muslim was not educated and never did to study the modern educatio, to shape the Indian muslims from darken to betterment AMU is very important especially those muslims are very conservative. Muslims in India are almost 15℅ in population and majorily not more educated mean largest uneducated community as per the percentage is Muslim, it's also has a govt task to do something that improve education of Muslims

@@Skdon7860 modi's slogan sabka sath sabka viswas so that a community which is most targeted in India are even most uneducated community, and govt has to do something to Upgrade Indian Muslim especially in educational field because large weightage of muslim contribute as Indians and that is way to represent sabka sath sabka viswas, because none of the community are lacking behind anyway.

*If government really is secular and believes in equality and equity then AMU SHOULD BE GIVEN MINORITY STATUS, THE INSTITUTION WAS SOLELY ESTABLISHED TO UPLIFT THE MUSLIMS AND no matter how many funds government provides the muslims are minority and literacy rate of muslims is still very low, a developed nation is one which has its minorities doing great and If India really need to be developed, minorities should be educated more and hence AMU SHOULD BE GIVEN MINORITY STATUS AND THERE SHOULD BE 50% reservations for MUSLIMS AND 10% Reservation FOR OTHER MINORITIES AMD 10% RESERVATION FOR WOMEN*

Admission in BHU is strictly based on merit and the reservation which is provided by the constitution of India. If there are less muslims,it clearly means muslims are either not considering taking admission in BHU or are not competent enough to get through. Also if you read statistics of any higher educational institutions in India,the proportion of muslims is already very low. IITs me toh 2% bhi muslims nai hai.
