Hi mate, just a little tip. Before you paint aluminium parts after you rub them down, use etch primer first (you don't have to spray lots on, no need to rub the primer down either) then paint the black on top. Better way to warm the paint up before spraying it is to put your aerosol in a empty container (can) then fill to the top with boiling water. Leave for a couple of mins then remove, this atomises the paint and thiner in the aerosol better, give it a good shake before spraying. Careful the can will be hot though. Don't worry the can won't explode as its not involved with a naked flame. The black paint won't peel off after a while as the etch primer is an excellent adhesive to aluminium. ( ive been a car painter all my life and this is how we paint new and repaired panels) Great video's keep them coming.

The piston rings don’t ever provide a 100% seal so some combustion pressure will get passed them and into the bottom of the crankcase. Without a breather the crankcase would pressurise and push oil out. There will be a crankcase breather of some form on all engines, most modern engines recirculate it back into the intake

Modern engines usually have a PCV system to send blow by pressure (usually from gases passing the piston rings) from the crankcase back into the combustion chamber (for better emissons). The crankcase breather stops vacuum in the crankcase that can be caused by the PCV system. (PCV Positive Crankcase Ventilation).
@munter109 ай бұрын
Crankcase venting is there to prevent pressure from crankshaft and piston motion windage from creating positive or negative (or both) building up and vents said pressures to atmosphere.

Your little paint jobs would look a lot nicer if you use an etch primer, high build primer, and then sand before your base coat. I know a lot of the spray cans say you dont need to prime but I've found that the paint holds up much better and looks nicer on my bikes if I prime first.

Also, I cannot understand why you’re spending so much money on a burnt out wreck of a bike when it was really only fit for the scrap yard! You will never get your money back when/if you sell it as it is worth far less than the total cost to rebuild it. It just does not make economic sense to rebuild that MV. Quite entertaining to watch you bumble your way through it though lol.
