You know one thing is an elderly person, a disabled person, that may not be able to mow the lawn, but the woman that answered the door looked perfectly healthy. I'm 78 and I cut my lawn with the weedwacker. My lawnmower broke and I don't have the money to get it fixed, but my lawn is cut.

I live in South Africa and if I have anyone doing anything on my property, I give them something to eat and drink. It’s called “kindness”, even if you are paying for their service. My garden service get their beverages etc every week. For my birthday I bought cake for them too. I always make sure to be kind to others. What an amazing duo you are. Same in UK, I live in a council property, whenever they send anyone to do maintenance etc I always keep them supplied with drinks and biscuits, let them use the toilet. A few years ago our bathroom was refurbished, the following year our kitchen, so there were plumbers, carpenters, electricians etc, they all got looked after.

They were all so shocked and happy. The supervisor told me that no one had ever done that for them. Made me feel good.

Did anyone pick up on what the next door neighbor did to his side of the fence? That tells me that maybe this is the "normal" way that property looks and he's tired of seeing it? I had to put up a VERY expensive wooden privacy fence because my neighbor on that side's yard always looked like a scrap yard. The neighbor on the other side of them did the same thing. Didn't faze the neighbor one bit! Thankfully, Hurricane Michael took care of the problem for us.

I am glad you happened upon this property. Just the way she came to the door and covered herself spoke volumes to me. After my husband died I met a man who I did not know for his true self. He berated me for going outside in shorts to work in my garden. Long story short, we never know what goes on behind closed doors. This yard may be over grown to keep people away from the home even. You are making it pretty again. The neighbors and everyone who passes here are so happy about the yard being cleaned up! The after views look wonderful! On a side note....yes when I first found your channel it took a minute for me to figure out you were Mother and Son! I enjoy your content and look forward to your videos! I loved the old house. It really looks pretty sturdy. I hope someone is going to save it. Y'all are such awesome people. The homeowner really looked so happy and just so appreciative of yall's hard work. The neighbors seemed very happy, too. I am looking forward to the second part of this yard transformation. 😅Amazing that the nice neighbors first to offer you drink, or someting to eat. Crazy😮 hospitality is so lacking, gratefulness. I was raised anyone come over help even if we hire we offer food and drink. ❤ Best Mom and Son duo.

I think the neighbours sick of the feral yard and people have been helping, but sounds like take and no give , obviously nobody does anything there and i hope there is a reason, shame for neighbourhood kids to even say thankyou for mowing. I hope it was appreciated by the woman who lives there and they learn how to use mower now and keep up with it, i just never understand 😢 ive mytiple disabilitiesand mow nine and 3 ederly neighbours. I hurt for days but i do it .I heard children, now they can play in the yard.😮 thx for doung what you do. Congratulations on subscribers 😊
