My wife loves the one I got her, she's constantly breaking down cardboard at work and says it's a boxcutter on steroids and a lot more. She likes the steel and factory edge on hers too, she's been using it like crazy for about a month and says it's lost very little of the slice factor on the edge. Haven't used mine as much but so far it's an excellent little edc/work knife for daily light cutting tasks.

You're getting it right on the name. Fairly confident it was named for her niece, but don't quote me on it (edit, I was wrong!). It's a quirky, but fun little knife! Update: For clarity, I was wrong, according to John Montgomery below, It was named as a tribute to her best friend who passed away last year. Putting it on this top level comment to make sure it is clearer than my original statement

@@kjpierson1152 No worries. Just to add some context here is the direct quote from Swaggs: “I named this knife in honor of my best friend Leah who passed away in a tragic accident late last year. Leah was always there for me. This knife is like her. It’s little, fun, and always ready to help when you need it.”

I’m at the, drill the G10 and install T8’s on my CJRB knives. I like their knives, quality and their price considering I beat my knives down at work. With a nice chunky lanyard for the pinky and ring finger, I feel this knife would fit my big ole hands great…… 10 min later.. bought 2 for $75 on Amazon

Also it’s worth noting that the Damned designs Oni is about the same size and you can get it for 80 bucks in S 35 🤪

Really wanted to order this knife, but since it was first released maybe two months ago, website won't let me add it to the cart. Probably tried 50 times over the last few weeks. Finally gave up. Hopefully, it will get released on some other knife sites soon. Really love that jade. Don't care for red with jade, but could dye it almost any color. Great video, as always.

Don’t get me wrong, I like “clicky” detents but mine just arrived today and I have to say the detent is a little stiff for a front flipper. Especially on a small knife. Anyone else seeing this? From what I’m reading in the comments everyone is in love. Also the pocket clip is so tight I can’t even force it into my pants pocket.

Love this little girl, but I have to agree on the stiff detent. It's not a problem with the thumb stud deployment, but it takes some torque to front flip it. After dropping it once or twice attempting a front flip, I decided to stick with studs-only.

I might take off the thumbstuds so there’s nothing to catch on a front shirt pocket seam. I generally prefer tip down to avoid accidental partial opening during deployment.

I actually own this knife. It sets in a drawer. I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to hold it. It needs a finger choil n the worst way. Great build quality, nice blade steel, but very awkward to use. And to be honest, not that great to open. I have average size grown man hands, and the thing is just plain awkward. I own a ton of knives, and I still haven't found anything that beats Spyderco delica for ergonomics. I have para 3, native, stretch, etc, and I have yet after all these years to find anything that feels as good in the hand as a delica.

@metal_complex4 жыл бұрын
You mean a full finger choil or just a sharpening choil? I definitely think every knife should have a sharpening choil, but even though MY preference is that it can accommodate for the average human index finger, I know not everyone wants the cutting edge reduced that much. So I probably won't push for it.

The action is really poor. I've had this for a few months now. There's beginning to develop a lot of play between the blade and the handle itself. I would recommend not buying this and instead getting an Ontario RAT or a Squid.
