CK2-Stellaris Mega Campaign Timelapse 769-2541

Thank you guys so much for watching my newest ck2-stellaris mega campaign. I decided to take another go at a regular mega campaign starting at 769 and going into stellaris. Since the converter between eu4 and vic2 is all buggy with ck2 to eu4 converted games I had to make a workaround in order to continue filming. This made the work I had to put in even higher and in total it took around 70 hours to edit, record and work with the converters/ find a workaround. So I would any support would be appreciated. WonderProductions You know what my advise would be if you want to create a truly unique megacampaign timelapse video? It's very peculiar and unused, but I think you should edit the savefile after each game finishes, fixing bordergore and maybe weakening some blobs.It would make your videos truly unique.Try it out

Dunno how I feel about naming alien planets after Terran empires. The world appeared to have united under Pommerania, I'd have just gone with one human/sol start called Pommerania and seen how they faired against the new, alien menace. Fun to watch though.

Yeah, eu4 system isn’t great. But Pomerania itself was strong with almost all polish and Slavic lands. So not much revolt risk. Idk it leads to blooming though.

I did this as when I simulated Pomerania as the earth planet and 15 aliens Pomerania died early on so that no fun. In a few of the other comments we came to the conclusion that I should move the top few major countries and 10 aliens to make it a bit more interesting. Sorry if you didn’t like it I wanted to make it a battle royal and something where the earthlings would actually survive. Idk

I really liked the CK2 to HoI4 timelapse and this one was a bit different from last ones due to Slavic staying alive, Hindu dying, Judaism becoming so big, and a heck of a lot of a lot of unexpected things like Pommerania! :) I personally don't like conversion to stellaris without a single alliance alive and no other countries at war, without the civilisation being called earth nations or whatever and united against all the aliens. Seems a bit more realistic I guess :)

It was pretty cool for the polish. And the only reason I didn’t do 1 country is if it was just Pomerania Vs 30 aliens they would most likely lose (as I did a test run), so instead I made it a battle royal finish for all major powers in hoi4. It’s a little funky but better than Pomerania dying. Cheers!

I did a test game for this where I just had Pomerania and 10 aliens, unfortunately Pomerania died early on and I thought that wasn't fun. So instead I made the stellaris part into a battle royal. I think in the future I'm going to do a game with the top few nations in hoi4 and 10 aliens planets to make a better but still so not all the humans die. What you do think?

Sounds good, and this style of timlapse was lovely. I have only one major complaint, that in stellaris part early on, names were nigh indistinguishable. Othervise, it is lovely - keep up the good work!

Every time a CK2 game starts, Byzantium always eats Bulgaria early on. It just baffles me how 1300 yearls later Bulgaria is still here, while Byzantium has fallen into oblivion. This game proves that Bulgaria defeats all logic.

Pomerania was to stronk, and sorry about the China thing, thought that 8 seconds of screenshots would be to much (for ones for east Asia and Oceania) but they aren’t. In the next mega campaign and other timelapses I’ll make sure to include a more zoomed in version. Cheers!

Thank you guys so much for watching, I decided for this mega campaign to do just a standard vanilla ck2 timelapse and see how it plays out. It became pretty awesome and had me watch the video a few times over to see all that happened. This video like the past few mega campaign took a significant amount of time as ck2 to eu4 converted games are broken for the eu4 to vic2 converter, so I had to recreate the eu4 world with custom nations. This took many hours and crashed twice causing me not to be to happy lol. But I finally got it out, so Thanks so much for watching, my next mega campaign should come out in about a month and will be Aztec invasion. +WonderProductions How about making a CK2Plus to HOI4 timelapse with custom rules in CK2 for more reasonable borders, cultures and religions? I.e. restricted culture conversion, slower religious conversion, powerful rebellions and halved vassal count. With Exclave Independence (One sea zone) and Fitna Fracture for better experience. That should be nice.

Please use some mods that would prevent or at least reduce the blobbing to minimum when recording these mega campaign timelapses, the blobbing just gets ridicolous and I believe it would be far more intresting having more countries in the world in games such as vic2 and HoI IV rather than just having 3 ridicolous mega states dominate the map.

The countries may have a lot of land, but overall the top 8 were mostly balanced. With similar amounts of power in vic2 and hoi4. It was just about how the ai handled it situation in hoi4 that led to that scenario. I played it twice and the second time italy won. But I do understand it does seems crazy to have these superstates. I'll look into some of those mods. Do you have any links to them? (Thanks btw)

Not exactly links but I for sure can recommend you a mod such as CK2+ which should at least slightly prevent blobbing of the countries and in my game it always resulted in regulated blobbing if any at all, there also was a mod that would make the countries that are exclaves break away upon ruler's death but I just cannot remember it's name and when it comes to EU IV I only know of "countries can collapse" since I don't really play the game. I really don't mind having big superstates but when one country suddenly takes control of all of europe that is so culturaly diverse and when it has land "stains" in another country's domain that is when I just can't look since it's so annoying.

WonderProductions Maybe try doing one with EU3. It had less blobbing. Although it did have more border gore, if that's possible. That being said, you'd still have to do something about the blobbing in CK2.

It was the greatest thing I have ever seen in a mega campaign. (Welsh Britain was pretty cool though) The Greeks may have failed in Europe but they made up in the colonial game, which is pretty awesome!

Watching this, at first this went exactly as normal, then suddenly shit hit the fan and I started laughing, this is such a shocker. Germanic Hibernia, Caledonia.. Slavic for almost all of Europe, shia overtaking almost all of India.. And Sunni pushed all the way away..
