Depening on how Dovska plays he could have become an architect building endless temples, palaces and redeveloping Constantinople, or he could have followed in Justinian's footosteps and expanded west. Maybe even claimed the title of Padishah in the East by taking the middle east. but like history, Crusader Kings 2 likes to play bad luck rolls on fate and monarchy dice.

The empire breaking down was just awesome! There are way too many well done timelapses of unstopable conquest, but none gave us a story to work with like this one did!

Just to clarify, everything that happens after the date hit year 1444 does not happen in the playthrough. Its a bit of an after-construction that I made to sort of justify me splitting up my empire to make the EU4 start more balanced and fun :)

Осёл Варфоломей there is a diference between the combat in ck2 and eu4, you can realistically beat anyone with a small army,so no, i dont think its going to be a fun game

I believe the name of your empire Sacrum Imperium Orientale properly translates to Eastern Holy Empire, which could be indicating the HRE as the Western Holy Empire, still competing for the title of Rome, but indirectly.

I'm excited for this, Dovska's videos always manage to keep me hooked on and make my imagination fly away along with the scenario, and I absolutely loved this one lmao. The splitting of the empire reminded me quite a bit of what happened to the Alexander's Macedonia and Ptolemy's Egypt. I'll keep an eye out for the EU4 videos, sure they'll be amazing .D

Just realised that Augustus essentially means the great, so Augustus the great can be looked at as the great the great. I'm pretty sure the meaning is slightly different but I'm pretty sure it's similar

My only complaint was that there were a few areas where text was covered up by the end battle window. Maybe if the text stayed in place for a little bit, then was replaced by the window, while freezing the timelapse it would work a little better.
