what happened? they used to have it so that the big deserts like the ones in the sahara or taklamakan would be colored when theyre surrounded. now its broken here as well 😔

Funny Japan actually did something I did in one of my runs when i played as Japan but I starts by invading Korea then going for the empire that’s just north of Tang empire then went for the islands south of Japan then Taiwan and rest of Indonesia basically what I did and i basically controlled all of the ocean and sea that surrounded china well you get what I’m saying if you do XD

The Northern empire is Korea too, it was founded by an alliance of Korean and manchurian rebel groups after Tang conquered the Korean kingdom of Goguryeo.
