National Scrapbook Day was almost 3 weeks ago, but ... life, am I right?
Here is my entry into the Counterfeit Kit Queen Purge challenge. (read more about it here counterfeitkit...)
I put my May kit to one side and focused on using up stash items. Owning a craft store that has a small scrapbook section means I've been buying all the things but also, running a craft store means no time to play with all the things. So my stash has reached epic proportions!! It felt so good to dig into it.
Here is the list of misfit stash items we were challenged to use on our projects - * indicate which ones I managed to get on this layout:
1. washi*
2. embossing folders
3. watercolors/acrylic paint
4. templates/stencils
5. ribbon
6. brayer
7. glitter (yes glitter glue is okay, LOL)* (ish - glitter spray counts, right?)
8. buttons* (chipboard but ... that counts, yes?)
9. brads/eyelets
10. stamps
11. bling/pearls
12. Thickers*
13. small phrase stickers*
14. black cardstock base*
15. rub-ons*
16. pocket cards
17. wood veneer
18. sequins*
19. frames*
20. stickers, but not alpha or phrase stickers* (of the washi tape variety)
21. die cuts (ephemera)*
22. cutfiles
23. acrylic embellishments/titles
24. chipboard* (ish - 49th & Market uses super thick cardstock which feels a lot like chipboard)
25. flowers*
I realize the mandate was for 5 but hey, I'm playing catch up with my scrapbooking so the more the merrier I figure.
