Wrapped my son's Miata last weekend.....Thought it would take a long day and it took 3! :) The cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly was a lot more work than I thought! Props to you Christian, because without your instruction I would still be screwing with it! Couple of things I did wrong. The 2000 Miata has a deep "mouth" grill and areas top and bottom that want to go super slack. We stretched and glassed the bumper...All was going well until we ran into a bunch of slack material on the bumper sides that I could not glass out. The top was going to be fine OK, but it was clear that I had not stretched the bottom enough...or had not heated it to the edge before I stretched the material.....OOPS! We pulled off each side and re-stretched the material...pulling much harder than I though we would have too, and it together easily from there. No baggy left overs that time! I warmed up the grill hole and fed a little material in from the bottom and the mouth went together perfectly. Took quite a while though! The rear of the hard top has no trim/weatherstrip to hide the cut and we ended up doing that twice. It is now perfect! The rest of the project was a bunch of fun! I used a cheap heatgun on the final post heat...Just because I had no idea how hot it was supposed to be...Not a bad idea for a first timer as it needs to be a bit hotter than what you might think. Going to tackle some stripes next week. There is no way in hell I would try that Camaro bumper !:) Thanks again Christian!

I would like to know the best way to wrap a bumper where the bumper is one shell (Saab 9-5 Gen 1). The black parts have texture and I don't want to wrap these. I imagine that if I start stretching that I risk shrinking back the film around the black. Do you have any advice for this situation?

Doesn't using your finger on the wrap (instead of the squeegee with felt) cause small scratches (swirl like) on it?

I haven't experienced damage from using my bare finger yet. The glove does help glide more easily as well as it being heat resistant.

I'm interested in buying this vinyl but reading the reviews on vivid's facebook page makes me hesitate a little bit. People say it's bad quality and the color fades in less than a year. A lot of the comments also mention horrible customer service.

We've searched for a microphone to use with the phone but there aren't any that are wireless and we need it to be wireless. We did invest in a new camera that was a Sony Alpha a6000 but it wasn't very good and kept over heating.
