I’m actually thinking about buying a massive tractor bc our neighbor is always buying bigger tractors or renting bigger tractors to test out, so I was thinking I’ll buy the biggest money can buy and just have it as a showpiece that he’ll see every single day 😂😂😂

ugh....I had a neighbor who actually was competitive about mowing in the neighborhood, and had a stalker like fixation on competing with us specifically. If I mowed, they had to mow, even if I waited until the day after they mowed their lawn. Once I noticed the behavior, I would go out and atart the move and pretend to mow a few laps. Once he started mowing and cut two of his own laps, I'd go put the mower away. Now he had to finish or his lawn would look dumb. I'm so happy to not be their neighbor anymore. anyone got a new car, motorcycle, boat, lawnmower....if it had an engine, their's had to be the newest in the neighborhood, and they would park put on their lawn for weeks to make sure everyone saw it.

Fantastic machine, when I think of 45yrs ago driving my uncles tractor with a two drum mower taking all day to cut 5acres. But I can understand how a machine like that pays. That, the harvester, the trailers, the tractors, the people to drive it. Will all cost a huge ammount. But yet the window to use these machines is 3months at best. I find it hard to believe it can be a viable investment.

More likely than not this is rented for a day or even just couple of hours. You have a job to do and a phone number to call. The guy comes in with the machine, mows your 25 acre lawn and drives to another customer.

i think they were only able to sell a few tens of units per year. the market for these huge mowers is big enough for one manufacturer but not two (krone was also making the big m) and after a few years class stepped out and stopped making them.

This is the only Claas almost that I have not had opportunity to operate. I think because I don't think we will ever need one. My mowers are perfect for job. I do like this machine and Claas never disappoint or rarely. Keep the tech coming Claas?

Seriously good for this guy man, I heard he started out by using a riding lawn mower too mow this and it took him 30 or so days too so, from riding lawn mower too this big beaut that’s a job well done and deserves a pat on the back for sure!

It's a cougar it doesn't go with anything else, its setup as a 5 gang sp mower. The only one I've seen for sale was used for $169k.

Dear Tractor companies why don’t most of you find an old lorry Frame or even rebuild a brand New Lorry Frame to build stronger and better Tractors and put those Scania N113, Volvo B10M, Volvo D10A, Volvo TD102KF, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel engines for those stronger better Tractors so they can still use them for any farms and even lift a broken down Bigger Buses and even broken down Lorries, why don’t you build 6 and 7 seats so that other passengers can sit at the back and front including the driver. You can still build those four stronger medium sizes wheels and still make them even more farm tractor-like than it still was before, please can you do those exciting idea’s for us tractor Lovers.
