The red thing in the front linkage stays in the linkage (in real life) and you can hook up different implements with it without messing with the linkage arms and top link. The extra "blades" at the back off the mowers are "conditioners". They help to dry the grass faster.

Them Tyne things condition the grass when you cut it (fluffs it up)

The blades behind and over the cutting disks is called Conditioner. Cuts long grass into shorter bits and break stiff stems. Also to fluff up swats. You can change mode to make one swat behind every mower deck, but not gather it in only one. Maybe a point to have Claas rake too in game?
