That same Shute of skinny water I run my 28-5-foot jet boat through with a 500 Hp 402 Chevrolet BB. It's a wonder what massive house power can do.

I run the Clackamas in a a Clackacraft too and want to get a motor, how many horsepower is your motor? And is it jet or prop?

I am looking at power drifters. I have a few shallow rivers. How well does your boat do with hitting rocks and what is the shallowest water yours will run in with two people?

Chaz Man Hi, my boat will run in an inch of water! It has a tunnel tunnel hull so nothing is below the transom. Also, I am getting a custom UHW shoe, if the shoe does tap nothing hard to impact. Lastly, rocks have no impact on the boat. The hull and motor are so light the boat just slides over the rocks.

John, where are you getting the UHW shoe? I have a Power drifter too and that’s a great idea!
