In one of your recent videos you shared picture of the plan for the corner, and it showed they'd be pouring concrete (RC I assume stands for reinforced concreete) where the 2 two rows inside stop, and putting steel in the furthest back rows. If that solves the mystery of what's happening for you KC. Enjoying the videos by the way.

Hi Kev, they're not having any problems in the corner. The plan has always been to pour some concrete at the back section in situ. You can see some of the wooden form that's been built on the next step up. Keep up the good work!

Reckon the wood being put down in the corner is so they can put a crane on it without damaging the new concrete to either do the cladding above or the back parts of the corner stand, there is defo ropes hanging down from the other corner the SKD Stand so maybe doing the missing cladding there as well.

Just done a tour on the inside, the concrete is nearly done, and they have what looks like ropes hanging from the inside corner wehere they cordoned off, so they are definitely working in that area.

The Terracing in corner could be down to getting access to wiring etc ..Once they close it in they MAY block access to the wiring ...

AFAICT there is only 1 big piece of concrete terracing in the car park fo the corner but looks like it needs a bunch more to finish off? Maybe 4ish? But believe the cranes have been taken offsite?

Any idea when the corporate boxes will be opened. It just looks weird the way they're covered up with the red panelling or whatever. I don't understand why they haven't opened yet as the corporate hospitality concourses seem to be finished, I understand one or two being closed in the corner due to the terracing not being completed yet in the main stand end

It could be that the missing precast corner piece is either too heavy for the crane or it has been made wrong and they are having to use insitu concrete to complete the corner

Mate that's exactly what they are doing. They have made a wooden mould if you like on the first riser part. When you think about it, they wouldn't be able to lift that far up in the corner because those wee spider cranes would need to stretch to far with that weight and there is an overhang on the top tier so probably wouldn't be able to get under that either.

Kev next time you look at the corner of the stand,, from what I can see from another video, it looks as if the plywood deck is actually going to be a floor and not shuttering for concrete,, it appears to be the same level as the adjoining precast units@@Kevcupo

This is sad, could of built on Stanley park, 80,000 west stadium, stuck at 61,000. Look at United most likely going to play home games at Old Trafford and build a 100,000 seat stadium next door and covert the old ground probably into a multi tier car park!!! Liverpool will be always 2/3 in England, shame never listen to supporters. They ain’t business men. Everyone in the world complains about how SMALL the stadium is. Disappointing

The club shop is the one thing that DOESN'T interfere with expanding the Kop, by the way, there 100% won't be any Kop expansion before 2028 at the earliest for obvious reasons. You might see the SKD upgrade started next though as that won't interfere with the LCC's plans/projects for Walton Breck Road (refer to the clubs Q&A last year on the SKD upgrade)

I'm not sure having pieces of loose cladding up there in the wind would be a good idea. It's probably best to take one piece up with hands on it, then work on that.
