I was born in 1953. My father was a narcissist and a pilot for Pan Am. While he was admittedly on trips enjoying his affairs, my mother, a gifted concert pianist, would play this at home, after being manipulated into separation from her family, friends, hometown, and no more concerts. I knew it was her way of dealing with her life after marriage to him.

I'm so happy i found this 3-hour version of "Clair de Lune" i was looking for Debussy's "Reverie". If you ever, ever make a 3-hour version of that, I'm there! Milton was indeed a monster. I kept telling those i love to keep their hearts & minds ON the good stuff & OFF the other stuff. We are in a part of Naples, Florida where the tidal surge wasn't as bad as the one 2 years ago. Gratitude is a magnet. It brings more things to be grateful for. Your rendition of Debussy's music helped me, when the wind was screaming around the property, driving the hard rain, helped me to hold on to my Peaceful Heart. Thank you.

I played this on the piano, not very well, but loved it, as did my mother. I suggested it for her funeral, but didn't follow through. Then I found a piece of paper in her drawer after the funeral that said she wanted "Clair de lune" played at her funeral. I was so upset I didn't have it played. And now listening to it makes me wish it all over again along with the crying.

I love this song so much but i cant count the amount of times i have cried let me explain. I went to go visit my aunt to check on her because of her dementia and she was doing okay but cant do simple things because of it. I decided to go to her room with the piano in it and Play this song but i herd my aunt crying but when i played this song she stopped and lit up with joy. I hugged her to let her know that she will be okay not knowing she wasn't that week. My aunt was sent to a place to feel comfortable for her last week i cried because of this but the week after she was sent there my dad came home with news that made me want to die. My aunt had passed away 😢and i never got to visit her one last time but you know what hurts most.... I never got to say goodbye 😭 but listening to this song reminds me so much of her and the times i had spent with her. I really miss her ❤😢
