You just perfectly described my boyfriend and i’s relationship. I keep him tethered to reality and making smart decisions and thinking things through, he keeps my from overthinking to the point of struggling

Tbh I think both Claire and Phil were in the wrong here. Claire’s attitude was patronising and insulting towards Phil and Luke, acting like Luke needed to be fixed before it was too late. Phil however does seems very sensitive to criticism and it was made clear from an earlier episode that both him and Luke have undiagnosed ADHD, so it feels like he was ignoring how a proper diagnosis could help Luke because of his own personal issues.

Psychiatric drugs can make your brain smaller overtime and cause make your life shorter by 25 years. I agree with Claire, no psychiatric drugs for her kids.

I think this is honestly the worst thing Claire has done to Phil. As someone with adhd, I cant see myself forgiving my partner for belittling me like that.
@AkA5532 ай бұрын
I agree that the way Claire said it wasn't the best way but Phil keep pushing her. As a mother Claire was worried and wanted to seek professional help if that's what luke needed and Phil was overly sensitive about the topic. And ADHD is a chronic condition if as a parent ur partner is concerned about ur child having that condition and wants to seek professional help and you keep pushing them It's not entirely their fault for snapping.

It really gets me when TV shows don't display proper safety practices for things like paintball or climbing. That is 100% not how one belays and, given they clearly had to go to a location and get gear, etc., it would have taken like 30 seconds to just ask "How do we do this the right way?" Studies have shown that people do CPR & Defibrillation incorrectly because they see it done improperly on TV (e.g, even med students think you can shock a flatline), and I'd be shocked if we don't see similar safety breeches in other activities as well.

I'd hope that people are smarter than you expect reality from TV shows/movies. They get a ton of things wrong. Hell, people are always driving in park on TV.

Impressive, at the time I didn't even realize it, but suddenly it hit me… I was actually letting it flow after the movies, my best guess is that when I go'ogled Beck Reznark's guide and read it, something changed inside me. Can’t quite explain it, it’s been months, I can’t believe I even had paruresis to begin with.
