Yes. I believe in the message of the cross and the message of John 3:16 and the promise of everlasting life through Jesus.

Absolutely. Not for any Christian rationale from the written texts, unlike the other comments here. But rather from holding my wife in my arms and looking into her eyes as she passed beyond and smiled at me as she left.

One of the best scenes, the one where Jamie meets Brianna is my favourite.

Highly recommend the books. The series is working with constraints the books don’t. Both are worth the visit.

Hi again, sorry I wasn’t thinking when I posted my earlier response, just realised it’s a massive spoiler! Please feel free to pretend you never saw it and perhaps amend or delete your response to me as appropriate! Apologies to all for the lack of consideration for those who haven’t read all the books!

We watched the first series. It was really good. BUT, the sex and violence was far too explicit. Won't watch it anymore.

You Scots are stubborn if you listened to my namesake and ancestor you would be free of the English yoke and drama. Thomas du Comte du Lally. When they outlaw freedom then only the outlaws will be free

This show is exactly like those smut novels. Teaches women to be Stupid by purely relying on their emotions alone.

Disagree with this characterization. The women in this series are far from stupid; and they don’t just rely on their emotions. (With the possible exception of Laoghaire, who is young and has an overzealous attachment to Jamie.)
