You are a similar age to me and I think that you may be dealing with perimenopause. You mentioned that your mood can be very low and then quite happy, that does seem like a hormonal thing. Perhaps track your mood with your cycle to see if your mood is related to your period. That has been very helpful for me.

So glad Violet is much happier at the new school, some secondaries schools which are in Multi Academy Trusts are being investigated by the government for causing long term trauma to students, something needs to change, there are so many schools now that have non inclusive policies, my older son moved schools at a similar time from a really high achieving one to a lower achieving one that was much more nurturing and was so much happier, he did not get into trouble once at the new school. He had started having panic attacks at the other one. The government is looking into all this and hopefully things will change soonx

I know not every school suits every child as Alister has been absolutely fine at the original school however how they’ve dealt with the issues have been shocking to me.. I already plan on putting M in Violets new school it’s so homely and on a different level.

So happy to see you back, been looking out for your videos, hoping to see what you got your children for Christmas and vlogmas, but then I remembered watching your video saying about your new job so assumed that you started your training. One of my grandsons who is 15 and leaves school next year has really been happy at his school, but his mum didn’t change schools because this is a local school and it is next to the primary school his siblings go to, his sister is in junior school and his younger brother is 4 he is 5 next month and he is autistic and non verbal so, my daughter wasn’t able to change schools, like I said he leaves next June depending on how many exams he takes, he is looking for a apprenticeship, rather than go to college which he will have to do if he does get the apprenticeship. His siblings are do great at school mainstream school, my grandson has come on so much since starting school, and had his first play last week but he didn’t really do anything, but the school is amazing and very inclusive. I have been down these last few weeks but don’t know why, I hate this weather and winter months because I feel restricted having to wrap up, I am on medication for antidepressants but just a mild dose. I am also wanting for an assessment for autism and ADHD because I recently had a screening and scored high for both m, there is a waiting list, my eldest and youngest have both one of my granddaughters was diagnosed last year with ADHD and is on medication, school was very hard for her, because she never got the correct support while waiting for an assessment, the still don’t support enough at 3 schools she was at but got excluded for bad behaviour which it wasn’t and the school she is at now are trying to get her permanently excluded, and don’t follow her EHCP, which is a legal document, but she loves her school and her work has really improved and so has her behaviour, she is on medication but not all the time, because it can leave her very exhausted, so lots of meetings at school and lots of complaints because the school is not supportive of her, my daughter is trying to go back to university to refresh her midwifery skills which went on hold after graduation, to get the right support for her daughter. My other daughter who’s son leaves next year she has also gone back to university to further her knowledge in makeup for film and television, she has an HND in media makeup for film and television and in September she started her BA honours in media makeup for film and television, it is only 2 days a week, 10-5 Mondays and 9-4 on Tuesdays, her two youngest goes to after school club for those two days, she does have mum guilt, and is finding the balance very exhausting and hoped she will get something at the end of it and everyone has told her she will, she has done two paid Jobs already she has met professional makeup artist one was a lady who did and won awards for Edward Scissors hands, Mrs Doubtfire and Beetle Juice she won 3 Oscar’s for these and my daughter got to meet her and have her photo took and she thinks my daughter will do really well because of her wanting to improve her skills and creativity, again worrying how things will work out if offered work away from our home town, but I told her we will find a way as she has a great support network, we will make it work, next year professionals from the television and film industry are coming to the university and the students are are doing an exhibition of their work and then give a talk about it, she is nervous but excited too, she has already been in our local paper twice for the work she produced and the two end of year shows as she was there for two years, I am so excited for next year for another graduation 👩‍🎓 and a better future for her family. Looking forward to seeing more videos Claire, even if you don’t do vlogmas it would be great to see what you have got the children and Graham for Christmas take care. X

I totally get the changing schools at yr 11 it’s just not worth putting the etc stress on the child.. an apprenticeship is such a great idea 😃 some people think I’m crazy starting a new career at my age.. but it just proves your never too old to do anything.. I still want to learn and pursue something for my Future 🙏 sounds like your daughters are wanting to do the same which is fantastic.. merry Christmas xx

@@clairelou09011988 never too old for a change in career and wanting a better future for your family and having some adult conversations, and being Claire again and not just mummy, wife or auntie, being true to yourself and your mental wellbeing will make your life better for you all. Would you think about looking into autism for violet, sorry for this for the way it sounds. But my niece was like this and she went for an assessment and it was found she was autistic and it was around violets age.
