heyyyy lovelies, in this video we are creating some cosy coffee coasters using coffee beans and coffee washi tape from the washi tape shop. This is a wow combination and honestly one of my favs this year. Coffee and cosy go hand in hand so putting coffee beans in resin had to be done. Autumn is always a time for a cosy coffee. I am using Tesco coffee beans in the resin I went for the cheapest I could find. I am using the APEX resin from Just 4 you online UK. ALL CODES below including washi tape. Coffee beans in resin has been done many times and I was so surprised at how easy it was. I was expecting so many bubbles but got none.

Hi Claire love these coasters but I'm a herbal tea drinker and can't stand anything with coffee 😂 the smell makes me feel sick 🤮, my man's is a coffee lover, it was definitely 100% worse when i was peri menopausal before I was put on hrt not as bad now but still totally dislike the smell I'm probably the only one 😂😂😂, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx

One tip that might be helpful Claire, on Cricut, the way you made the circle and was bending the letters, if you place one on top and hit “send to the back” the letters will pop up on top of the circle! Helping you to see the alignment better! Hopefully that makes sense! 😂

I think you definitely could; the tea is dried, and some of the blends are beautiful. My husband hates when I make Lapsang Souchong-he’d like the idea of encasing the bags in resin! 😂

If you click on your shape and click the arrange button, hit send to back and you can put the font on top of the circle. Its much easier 😁. Also, the coffee shop is called central perk! 😂

I love using coffee beans in resin! I've also used dried coffee grounds in resin too, "coffee glitter"! did you link that curvy cutting thingy, can't find it? and I love coffee! my hubby used to say that I loved creamer and then coffee. whatever! ;)

These are amazing. I want a cup of coffee now, but at this hour, it's a no-no. But I'll picture these in my mind in the morning. I like coffee over tea in the morning, and tea is my go-to when I can really stop and enjoy drinking it. I don't think tea and being in a hurry mesh well. You can drink a cup of coffee standing up, but for tea, you need a peaceful break.

I personally have never like coffee, but... in the winter hubby makes me a drink that's about a 1/4 coffee, and the rest is sugar free hot chocolate and water, with a splash of cream. He sometimes throws in a teeny tiny candy cane. It's so yummy. The rest of the time I like hot tea, and iced tea in the summer. But still-these are just beautiful coasters. I wish coffee tasted as good as it smells!!

Claire these coasters would look so pretty with the outside edge ,on the side, set off with like a pewter Grey metallic marker. One that matches the metal in the washi tape. You also said you hated weeding your vinyl....I wish I lived closer. I would weed it for free. I am the weird one lol that finds it relaxing 😌 Love your channel.

Love this but instead of putting the coffee beans down first I would put the picture down and then put the beans in the resin. Then you don't have to cut the vinyl at the bottom.

Claire, these coasters are awesome. I drink tea in the spring and summer. But I am definitely a coffee drinker in the autumn and winter months. Coffee seams to make me warmer. It's probably a psychological effect. 😂 Or it could be the milk in the tea cools it down quicker. ❤❤❤
