Planning a trip to Morocco? Wondering is Morocco safe or is Marrakech safe for travelers? In this video, I share my firsthand experiences from two trips to Morocco-one as a solo traveler and one with my mum. I’ll break down everything you need to know about Morocco travel, including tips for navigating Marrakech, staying safe in Moroccan medinas, and avoiding common scams.
This Morocco travel guide covers key advice on how to handle safety concerns, whether you’re traveling alone, with family, or in a group. I’ll also discuss solo female travel in Morocco, how to approach Moroccan markets, and why I believe Morocco is safer than many people think.
Whether you’re looking for a Marrakech travel guide, general Morocco travel tips, or practical travel advice for navigating this incredible country, this video is your ultimate resource for staying safe while exploring all Morocco has to offer.
If you’re planning to travel Morocco, watch this video to prepare.

I visited July 2024 . The Cleanliness in Tetuan, Tangier and surrounding areas is out of this world. Having lived in LA for half a century, I never felt unsafe in Morocco. Looking forward to getting back 2030 for the world cup.

Not really a good comparison. LA is much bigger than Tangier. But I get what you're saying, it's a sense of civilized order that LA is often lacking.

@@harrybarry5224 I don't know about that. The quantity quality relationship can't be denied, however given the available resources in LA, the leaders have no execuse. 40 years ago, you would have to look for a homeless to find one, now you can't avoid one. With that go streets, that are so dirty at times I said: Are we in Somalia? Downtown LA, and Santa Monica are unrecognizable. I travelled around, the cleanliness of Mdieq made me take a pause and say hats off to these people.

In truth, Moroccans in general are very very sociable, either among ourselves or with foreigners, whether black, white, yellow or from another galaxy, who are often surprised by this spontaneity of Moroccans in approaching them. like old acquaintances. For example; two Moroccans who have never known each other, as soon as they meet anywhere, will quickly share everything, I mean everything and the bread first!! We are like this; hospitable and we like foreigners to feel good and safe with us and Moroccans will never remain indifferent if a Moroccan and moreover a foreigner is threatened by others. So welcome to us for as long as our beautiful country pleases you.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Welcome to Morocco anytime! I’m from Tangier, and we warmly welcome everyone here. Morocco is a very safe country, despite a few rare individual incidents. It’s a beautiful country with rich cultural and historical diversity. Moroccan cuisine is one of the best in the world-highly diverse, flavorful, and refined. In Tangier and other parts of Morocco, you can find places that take you back to ancient times, making you feel like you’re in a magical world of legends. There are also modern and developed cities like Tangier and Rabat. Morocco is truly amazing, and anyone can enjoy their time here. We respect all people, cultures, and religions. Everyone is welcome to visit Morocco and my beautiful city of Tangier.

I’m glad you had a good time and you felt safe❤️ the ppl in Morocco being more helpful is true and if you just asked some locals to help you with your luggage in the Medina (btw it’s called Medina not Kasba) i bet that they would’ve helped you👍 subbed✅ I like your honesty in stating both the positives and negatives. Also, I wouldn’t drink tap water either, and it’s not a matter of hygiene, it actually contains hard minerals! Bottle water is filtered so it’s fine✅

As a moroccan, I should let you know that your way is no way to talk to people, especially to someone who is poetry about us and our country. I suspect you are not moroccan you are from the other side, that country that no one wants to visit and of they do they regret that the rest of their lives. ( Algerian ). Pleas disregard his comment and on behalf of Moroccans, we love to hear about it hat people think about us we have a clean history and we like to keep it that way, I apologize for this behavior. We appreciate you, we are happy that you visited our country, we are glad and proud to have you and we wish for all of you who had visited Morocco to comeback and visit us again you are more than welcome. I also apologize to the guest who had met with those hustlers who never have enough, we are working on that, there is a special brigade it's job it to protect the visitors and make their stay comfortable and feel welcomed and like at home, it's the tourist police, they are everywhere and once you mention that name those hustlers will leave you alone. I live in Europe, and I like to visit Morocco in the spring because it's not hot or cold and much important it's not crowded. Thank you for this video and thank you all for your great comments.

“All humans are descended from Adam and Eve,” said Muhammad in his last known public speech. “There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.” “Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously” “There is no goodness in those who do not want to host guests.” That's how 99% of Moroccan think/act towards foreign people and visitors.
