Clams Casino is like the Boards of Canada of hip hop. Very nostalgic, very trippy, borderline spiritual

This album was his most cohesive, but it is an EP. Having said that, those 5 tracks are more robust and beautiful together than anything else in his library.

Any artists that make this type of music ?
@alixander414 жыл бұрын
Ernest Perez Jr Just to name a few of you haven’t found them yet: Aphex Twin, especially his earlier ambient work. Boards of Canada naturally, my personal recommendation are their Campfire Headphase album as well as their In the Country EP. also there is Moby’s instrumental works. Also, Khraungbin if you prefer more psychedelia ambient. Aside from that there are a lot more obscure and soundcloud artists I could name, but it’d be hard to categorize them. DM me if you want some more recommendations, the world needs to listen to more of this music

i watched Aguirre and i can tell that it's really amazing, the natural scenery and costumes makes the film immersive. Also the plot got my attention one hour and half, Aguirre personality is just like a Walter White.
@crappiefisher13 Жыл бұрын
Besides the movie having nice scenery and being amazing you completely misunderstood and misrepresent the movie. Aguirre is a cutthroat psychopath who betrays his leaders and then descends into Madness because of his greed for power and gold. While the whole crew slowly dies, he descends into a delirious state where he even wants to start a new dynasty with his own daughter. Aguirre is nothing like Walter White, there is nothing good about this character, he is obv the antagonist of the movie while there is no protagonist.
@pxgvsvs Жыл бұрын
@@crappiefisher13 As you said Aguirre descends into Madness (like Walter White changes into Heisengber), because of his greed for power and gold (just like Walter White after became Heisenberg, losing the first reason to do such things that is gattering money for his family after he dies, while new threats appear). The only thing that differences Walter as Heisengber from Lopes de Aguirre is the good side of Walter White.
@crappiefisher13 Жыл бұрын
@@pxgvsvs dude you're actually kind of right about that. and both characters are about greed kind of. But Aguirre was from the start an antagonist while walter is protagonist/antihero. So the archetypical role is different.

The Spaniards are searching for "El Dorado" in the movie, thinking they will find gold beyond their wildest dreams. As they trek through the jungles, they capture native's and keep them as slaves. As they become more lost and are running low on supplies, more of the natives scope them out and start killing them off without even being seen. The movie basically ends with the main character " 1:33 " all by himself on a raft, going crazy. He says "I, the Wrath of God, will marry my own daughter and with her I will found the purest dynasty the world has ever seen. Together, we shall rule this entire continent. We shall endure. I am the Wrath of God!" and then the movie ends. i was disappointing by the ending. but its more of a metaphorical ending

The shits about to hit the fan. It's not a big deal because all of creation is about to implode and all we know will burn within a few hundred years. Maybe you will be hearing this when it happens.
