I love that there's male queens, I have known so many examples irl of male cats taking care of their kits or other kits part of their families, it's nice to see them represented. And the possibility of trans cats also rocks

It is rare amongst feral cats but indoor cats are accepting of their kittens, and will help out or in the least acknowledge that the kittens are their offspring. My guess is that whisper was a docile barn cat that had kittens and decided to leave his original home stead to live in the clans which would give them better survival traits, as well as he wouldn’t have to worry about other tom cats possibly killing his kittens for territorial issues.

@@ameliorateepoch9917 rare but not impossible, most cats I spent time around were stays or wilds (though still tamed a little). I currently have three sisters, born from a couple of stray cats, their mom was not tamed but would still tolerate us around and their dad was a fully stray cat with no domestic traits whatsoever. And yet, he would actually come visit his kits a lot, playing with them, resting with them, heck, they would even go on full-on family trips together. The other cats were farm cats, where no cats were sterilized whatsoever, so there were new kittens almost every year. Most of the cats there were siblings from different litters of the same mom, and they loves each other, they kept cuddling with each other including, and especially, the males. These guys would be very welcoming to the new kittens and were very affectionate with them. One winter, the older tom and one of his little brother even took care of some kittens born too late. They were (probably) not theirs and yet they still showed them love and affection.

I think Harefin and Leaffin (I finally remembered her name) from my generated clan would be good friends and bond over their murders and suspicious attitude and fur colour. Leaffin has “canonically” killed two cats in an argument over their mate or family member and in my personal headcanon had something to do with the murder of another kitten. Maybe the reason Harefin “murdered” honeynose was an accident while they were arguing, and it’s only called a murder because Harefin blames herself and now her grumpiness stems from guilt and unhappiness? Like, they had an argument about honeynose and something happened to honeynose, like she accidentally ran into traffic or while out for a walk to clear her head she was attacked by a dog?

My clan, CrownClan, lasted 4 years before the game crashed on me (my fault). But it's been a blast, and the biggest ending was the oldest medicine cat murdering the brother of their colleague after he got together with one of the random loner's daughter. I can't believe a medicine cat murdered a warrior! I want to justify the mistake on that. After that the clan wasn't the same and slowly dismembered.

what if Nectar was somehow a Ghost or a Revenant of Honeynose? Considering how much they look a like, the similarities in death, and even there names being somewhat related. Nectar is what bugs drink and with bees I'm pretty sure they too drink the nectar of flowers as they collect pollen to make honey.

In the books, no. It still happens, of course, but it's not allowed and can demote a cat from their position if it happens, at least from what I remember of Leafpool's story. But in the Clan Gen game, there are no consquences to this happening. Of course, if you make a story out of this, you can add that drama. The only consequence of a medicine cat having a mate in the game- as far as I'm aware- is that, if they have kits, your Clan will be down a medicine cat, and if they're the only one or one of the only ones, the game will tell you that you don't have enough medicine cats to take care of the Clan and you have the risk of cats dying more often because of this. I haven't had too many problems with this, though that could just be because the majority of the cats that die in my save file have died from anything other than health problems.
