"She" She feels so lost Without someone She feels alone Like without a soul She feels so alone She feels too much She feels so out of touch She feels unloved Life is moving fast Deep down inside She wished for all To change to normal She feels so alone She sees too much She feels so out of touch She feels unloved She feels so numb Like being stunned Where did it all go wrong? What has life become? She feels she can't breathe She feels no more needs Each day a little more Here she's never been before So sad for so long Where did she go wrong? It breaks my heart To see what you've become

Since 1988, for me, Xymox have been the only consistent band to give the alternative/Goth scene any passion. They've never sold out to the main stream, and have always done things exactly how they wanted!
@9planfailed3 жыл бұрын
@Paul Gauthier Yeah, there is plenty of young bands out there, full of talent, that goes without saying. It's great to hear new and exciting bands, and there is an abundance out there. I wrote this comment a year ago. Don't be so patronising! Obviously 1988 is long gone. I've been into Xymox since 1985. That's even longer gone, but guess what? 36years later, they're still here and still making great music!
@Mordrieal3 жыл бұрын
I was born in 84 and didn't discover these guys until my late teens. That said, they've been a staple in my collection ever since. The fact they are still making such amazing music even beyond this song is incredible. They definitely do their own thing and I could not agree with your statement more.

When I was 16, I heard “Stranger” on the radio for the first time, which was mistakenly stated by the DJ as Coulorbox (another great band). I searched high and low back then to find this track...to no avail. I graduated high school, went to college, applied and got a position as a DJ at the college radio station where I looked for the track in the stations library. Nope! but Colourbox, did have a similar track. Meanwhile...COX had plenty of material there...surprisingly, I never stumbled upon Stranger as I did not know the tracks name and was looking at the wrong band. Fast forward 34 yrs later, a YT clip of Stranger pops up on my feed randomly. I see it’s COX and decide to reminisce my youth. I listen to the song and this track. This track that randomly wound up in my feed...was the track I had been searching for over 3 decades...finally was found. Its w Iredell wild story that had finally come full circle. And COX like myself, are still churning stuff out...keep it up and don’t make me look for you again.

It was for his comeback onto the scene because he's a really great performer, and goth extrodinaire. I will get paid for these tracks by the time he gets to L.A. He plays the old music mostly when he's live though. I meant for him to play the new tracks live for the 2000,'s Era we are in. Era music. Come on!

Goth is a culture, we have a rich heritage... It's never just been about the fashion or the music it's the ability to take tragedy, to take a sobering look at reality and to cry tears of bittersweet joy as the goreslicked travesty belies a deeper meaning that claws at our psyche. We take darkness and weave it into a beauty tapestry. No matter how old we get it'll always be our home
