Nobody thought of using ink to write/print until late 2006 when Jeff Kinney released his hit classic novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It started selling so well that he had to find a way to mass produce it-stone carving was too slow and electrically inefficient, and thermal printing was legally restricted to receipts until 2021.

The inkless printer is nothing special, you're right. I got mine for 10 USD here in the Philippines. Even the thermal paper or thermal sticker refills are insanely cheap! I find it super useful. The only flaw these have is that the impression will lose quality with the time losing opacity over the months and years so yeah! Also they use a very specific kind of paper and are refillable

Inkless printing is actually really old. Cash registers use it to print out your tickets. They have a roll of black paper with a white layer over the top that comes off when heated, letting the black come through. So technically the paper is already printed but you remove a layer of the top to show what text or image you want to be on there.

I almost bought a fire wallet in 2013 at a Theater Magic shop in St Augustine, FL. Youre supposed to use zippo type fluid too, because it has a lower flashpoint, so it lights on the first attempt. The problem is that it makes your money, cards and pocket smell like that fluid. The "magician" at the shop was actually very good, and used the example of paying someone and saying "cmon man, youre burning up my money" 😅 But I didnt want my pocket to smell like zippo fluid lol. I bought the levitator, the magic coin purse, and the trick deck instead. Never used any of them.

About Adhd • Adhd can start to appear more obviously as your life changes (for example if you get a new job that is less adapted to adhd or if you stop "masking") but you can't "get" adhd after your childhood (to be more precise, you are born with adhd, but some studies start to point a link between some child traumas and the development of ADHD but even if this is true, if you're a preteen it's already too late for adhd). • Against what Tiktok wants you to think, just because you like fidgeting doesnt mean you have adhd. It could be adhd but it could also be other things like anxiety or autism. Relating to symptoms you see on the internet can definitely help you and motivate you to go see a psych if you suspect adhd but please never self-diagnose you as it is not going to help you and creates misconceptions about disorders which leaks to discrimination.
