I was born in '89 and only discovered the show when I was 18, because I like Irish music and found out about it while browsing. I also love Robin Hood and so I became enamored with RoS and the Clannad soundtrack 💚 now I own the DVDs. I travelled to Ireland for the first time recently and instantly loved it 💚☘️

Nothing is forgotten. Now I am 43 years, ROBIN HOOD is still my love and heart the music and the group of actors, If i get a chance to visit them all I will be the luckiest. Never ending love from my childhood to last breath. Robin, Marion, Little Jhon, Much,Tuck,Will Scarlet, Nazeer, Robin 2 Conery , Sherif and Gisban (sad I miss you Giban) I love you all and the musicians, and the film director who made this movie years and years long hearted among many viewers. That's actually a fair observation, Mike Bradbury. This is much closer to pomp prog than the Clannad I knew & loved. Just feel that they're swamped in this 'big band' incarnation (see my comment of Sept 21 2018)

- 8:27 - its "escape theme", used in "Swords of Wayland" (Season 2) when Robin's band run from the village before soldiers of earl Godwin (led by captain played by Nick Brimble)... also used often in Season 3, for example when band rescues Marion from king John and escapes from Notting. castle - 10:55 - "dance theme", used in joyous village dance scenes like in "Lord of the Trees" or "Cromm Cruac" So much marvelous music, I wish for a complete soundtrack or fan-made 2 CD Sounds of Sherwood. :-)

Ive been rewatching the Robin of Sherwood series. Started watching in the 80s and fell in love with it. Jason Connery is so handsome. And Judi Trott as Marion was the most beautiful Marion they could have picked. Also Nicholas Grace as the sheriff is superb. Love to all in the series

God so true. Never tire of "Robin of Sherwood". But as time goes by, we know we will never see it's like again. Plus we have all aged, some have moved on, but it can still still evoke memories and emotions as when first aired, (i was a sweet innocent teenager, now in my 50s, older but no wiser, alas).
