One of my favourite DJ`s of the past few years, the mask, the hat , the gloves and jacket just add to what DJing is all about ENTERTAINMENT ! Why the hell would he stop wearing it, ask any house fan what Claptone looks like and they will instantly say the guy with the gold masquerade mask. That is marketing at it`s finest.

This is the fist time I've seen him doing fake dj'ing, personally I think it's because of DJ Mag, I think maybe they told him they wanted some more movement lol. Look up his other sets and shows, I promise you he is one of the most authentic acts in EDM, I've seen him 4 times in person and seen all his sets on KZbin, this is the only one with noticeably fake knob twisting lol
