No GPS back in the day but the lines are perfect. Some skilful men worked that bog!!

Thank you very much Joe for the comment. Yes the work done by the board was very impressive. I'm not sure if these drains will ever disappear.

@@ThePeatlandsofIreland I did my engineering apprenticeship with Bord Na Mona at Ballydermot just outside Rathangan in the late 70's and was a super company to work for back then.
