I was a passionate fan of both Robert and Ckara Schumann from the age of 14, I nded to put aside thWlatzes as a infrior work ut I am listening to them with a new pleasure. They are supposed to be a lighter form of music, but I am amazed now by their fresh inventiveness.Infinitely better than the J. Strauss Waltzes whose melodies are obvious. Thanks for posting them. Her maiden name was Wieck not Wieke.
