Claremont Wilderness Loop

Hiked the Claremont Wilderness Loop in the San Gabriel Mountains. This would be considered an urban hike. It’s an easy to moderate 5 mile hike with an elevation of about 850 feet. It’s mostly exposed with trees near the last half mile if hiking counterclockwise.
There are plenty of options to add more mileage. I used AllTrails, although it’s a well marked trail.
There is a parking fee. You can use a credit card to pay fee via the parking machine. There are bathrooms on the trail along with benches and trash cans. Very clean trail.

When I moved to Colorado in 91 this was just fire roads. I'm happy to see that it is being managed well.
