Modern day AA all around the world here in 2023 owe a huge debt of gratitude to Clarence Snyder for removing AA from the Oxford Group and making it independent of religion but keeping it spiritual. He also acted as a check on Bill Wilson and Bob Smith from taking AA to far down the road of religion for the rest of the days that those two men lived. So a huge thank you to Clarence Snyder!
