I've played violin for 79 years ,still play in orchestras and teach on conventional strung instruments with right hand bowing but when I try to p,aye left handed its impossible to reach across the g and d for high a and e string positions . The instrument having evolved to enable fingering on e to be e opposite the thum ,so how does she do it??

Very clean playing, especially for a tune in Bb (the original clarinet key). But why so fast? I think most polka dancers would drop out long before it's over. Personally, I like to play it in G, a more fiddle-friendly key, in my opinion. Of course, I couldn't compete against Katrina. She's one of the best fiddlers in the country.

I have trouble seeing how this is even possible. What was the reason for not getting a left handed violin?
