Thank you Barbara, I stumbled across this video by accident. I have not done parchment work for nearly 4 years... other crafting techniques learned. I Have purchased two of your groovi plates Celtic Alphabet and the Diana lace plate. I am very happy with both . Just done the Diana one, no cutting just embossing as not yet mastered the cutting. Nice plates that can be used over and over again. Thank you for the time you put in to do the videos, I love the Shac shac ones too. You are very calming to watch and listen to.

I've tackled the Queen Anne plate again this morning. I have to say that, after watching this video, it was 100% easier than the first time as I followed Barbara's tips, I embossed the outline first and then everything else just fell into place. Thank you, Barbara, your tutorials are priceless. xx

A little tip for those larger corners in the cutwork at 37:00, the Pergamano fine needle twin tool tends to splay a little, but in this case that is an advantage, as you can re-perforate those two holes deeply with it to make the cutting easier and neater.

Great video! I decided to design my own lace for my partners Christmas card. It was very successful but without a Groovi plate to guide me I had to count every hole and dot. After several mishaps I finally achieved it and I am very proud of the final result. The Groovi plates will make it so easy for anyone to achieve lace without all the heartache of mistakes. Good onya Clarity!!!

Barbara, brilliant video, I was always confused about the different sizes of the mats and wondering if I was getting it wrong, so what I have done now is to get a sticky label and list out what each mat is for and I have stuck this label onto my groovi guard so it is always there. Thank you, now I am going to have a play xxx
