I’m guessing I need a couple clutches because I don’t have 1st or 4th gears in my 175B

I have the same exact loader, I put oil in it when it was running and it all blew out the breather on the converter. now I have nothing, no hydraulics at all. Any suggestions?

Does it have any oil in the transmission, it needs to be about 2 inches above the full level cold, if it's got oil and you have no hydraulics or movement of the driveline between the torque and trans. Then it's likely the fiber gear that the torque splines into on the flywheel. You can pull those covers on the side of the torque and see if there is a bunch of chunks of fiber gear. It's a common problem that happens sometimes and it's not too bad of a deal to change. Bpt components in Canada sells them

I read about the same problem on Heavy equipment forums. I agree with Ryan Ozbun that the most likely suspect is the fiber gear.

@@jlfortin7gmail 226595 Is the original partnumber as far as I can see. Don't know if Minnpar stil has them. Here in Holland I know a few of them lieing around.

Hello. I have been figuring out about my Clark 75B why it keeps spitting oil in the breather of the converter. I found one comment that’s similar to my problem but it has hydraulics and it has movements. The only problem is that it spits oil all over, and I can’t continually use it bcoz it’s probably end up getting empty which mean more problem plus it’s very messy. I hope you can read my comment and send some suggestions. Thank you!!

I got a large oil leak 175B and it looks like transmission because it’s not completly black oil like engine but it’s dripping through mud. It’s coming out of the bell housing on the torque converter to engine. I’m guessing an input seal not the rear main?

Hey. lots to know about these things. I have a Clark torque & transmission in a Case machine where the transmission actually just lost all the oil & it ended up in the engine oil pan & overfilled the motor & puked out all over the ground. Can't find anything yet about the torque & bell housing. Is it possible the whole bell housing with the torque converter can get filled & over-pressured & push oil backwards through the main seal & into the engine? Seems like such a far fetched idea, yet the oil is gone from the transmission and the oil pan is filled to the gills on the engine. I've never seen a bell housing where it's full of oil, but this one looks like it's possible. Nor do I know if the torque converter is submersed , just assumed it was not like in a normal transmission or automotive application. at the 10 minute part of this video you show the bell housing /torque converter that looks much the same thing as mine. I expected to find, but cannot find a cooler where the engine oil and transmission oil are together - which would be the first place something bizarre like this could happen.

It's possible that the seals are blown in the torque converter and it filled the bellhousing and pushed past the rear main. That's really the only place they could communicate if there is no oil cooler linking the two. The torque converter has those square plates on them you could pop one of the lower ones off and have a look if it's full of oil from the trans then I'd say that's your issue. What is the model of the torque converter and trans? Also if the torque leaks into the bell housing that badly you should have seen some overheating of the system. Also parts for the trans and torque is easy to come by. A company called bpt components in Canada will have or can get you a rebuild kit for your torque. Mine was 700 bucks for this big torque. Good luck ask any more questions if you need

So the 275's have just straight air brakes, not air over hydraulic? Are they disk or drum brakes?
