This was a cool ass episode. But there was one thing I couldn’t get out the back of my mind. Is that something about Jonathan Kent consequence of the deal he made with Jor-El had somethin to do with his life span. Which is why Fate/ Destiny took his life after Clark went back in time to save Lana. Throughout the later seasons. My theory is fate/ Destiny had a life dept owed to them. Johnathan Kent was the number 1 life depth to be paid.

That’s not a theory so much as explicitly stated in the series. Jonathan’s heart was weakened by his temporary powers; Clark was resurrected by Jor-el and told that a life would need to be paid for his; Jonathan died to pay that debt. Even if Clark hadn’t rewound time to save Lana in “Reckoning”, I doubt Jonathan would have lived that much longer. All the doctors throughout that couple of seasons were pretty cautious about his chances.
