NRS has some insane ones. Jason/Kano in MKX, Terminator in MK11. Bane in Injustice 2 has the venom buff/debuff, Solomom Grundy chain grabs from Injustice. I think MK/KOF are great at spinning the usual formula of the slow ans big grappler. Even Goro Daimon is surprisingly mobile for his size. Zangief does not stand a chance against him.

I'm quite new to this game, but what I'm picking up is that Clark is probably in the same club as MBAACC Kouma Kishima and GG+R Potemkin in that they're some of the only dedicated grapplers who are top or high-tier as opposed to mid or low-tier.

Can't lie; point Clark may have good fuel efficiency as a battery, but mid Clark having meter gives him so much more flexibility. EX Tackle being an anywhere grab lets him control the pace of a fight off of almost any stray aerial hit and air reset, it's ridiculously fun (and agonizing for his opponent).

In the newer KOFs, some of the grapplers either have invincibility or guard point on grabs that aren't frame 1. In Clark's case he has 3 versions of his command grab one that's a 15 frame startup but with guard point, the other being your standard 1-frame grab, and the last one being an EX grab that has extended range and starts up on frame 1.
