A true American treasure! One of those guys who can play two or three notes,and you just know it's him.....and a man who has educated probably thousands of musicians,either directly or through performance.

I played in Clark's very first big band in 1967, but actually first played with him in Charlie Barnett's band in 1960 when I was 18! Clark is 91 and recently had one of his legs amputated......I wrote "Soliloquy For CT" on his 90th birthday, and recently added lyrics for his 91st..... May his distinctive sound and golden notes abound throughout time"

Hah, on the CD I have, during his break it sound like he's mimmicking at LEAST German and then Italian.
