I think the reason she became like this is because Lexa’s death drove her over the edge, but it was slow and painful and she only lost so many more after that. She’s less of villain and more of a broken character, with nothing left but a shell of who she used be that is now filled to rim with memories and losses.

Yeah I just wasn’t happy with where they went with her in the end. I much preferred her arc in season 6

I completely agree with you... they made her the bad guy at the end when she deserved to be the hero after all what she went through and all what she did for her friends!! This edit is an amazing portrait of that side of Clark we all disliked! Thank you i really enjoyed it!

I loved this side of Clarke. I don't think she was any different in season 7 to any other, she put her people first. Madi was her person and Bellamy was a threat to Madi. It's no different to what she did in season 5. What I love about Clarke is she will do whatever it takes to protect her people, but she's absolutely the villian if you're not her people. That's what makes her their leader but also why at times they hate her. She does what nobody else will. Great edit.

I don't think season 7 shows her as the villain. Bellamy was a threat, he tortured her and everything. She killed him because he was supposed to be the only who knew about Madi. Then she failed the test but the test is a joke ! What are those things who think they can juge people like this ? Clarke was against it and from my point of vue she's right. She stayed true to herself, transcendance is a way of surviving for the eternity... or maybe life should be about more than just surviving. She choose to live. I think she got the ending she deserved, her people finally understand her ! That's the best gift she could have !! Beautiful edit ! Unique in his kind well done !!

Personally, I didn’t like how they went with Clarke’s character in S7. I would have preferred them to follow on from S6, with her doing better and breaking the cycle. Although I appreciate your insight! Thanks for the comments (:

@@e_tty2551 I felt like they had given her a reception arc in S6, with showing the audience her perspective and how she felt. Then she proceeded to do better and I loved how that was going, my disappointment comes from them going in another direction with her I guess

Great video! Hated the series ending but Clarke will always be one of my favorite characters. Gotta say, Clarke would be so scary if she actually went completely evil without any remorse. That would be so scary because nobody would be able to predict what she'd do.

One thing Clarke never said she was the hero she only did what needed to be done to protect her people and than to protect Maddie if anything they would have all died along time ago if it weren’t for her always making the hard decisions

everyone blames clarke for killing finn but it was to spare him of the suffering he’d endure. for letting a bomb drop but it was to protect bellamy’s cover, for killing all the people who helped them in mt weather but she also killed the guilty AND saved her people. for getting everyone of their people in the bunker despite octavia winning the conclave, but in her mind she was saving their people. for her burning 300 grounders but they attacked their ship. for leaving bellamy, gaia and indra in the fighting pit but it was to protect madi. for killing bellamy but it was to protect madi once again, but that ended up not mattering because madi turns herself in anyway. but for some reason they forgive lexa for betraying clarke at mt weather forcing clarke and bellamy to kill everyone in there, bellamy for almost letting clarke die in season 1, octavia and abby for everything they did in the bunker, murphy for season 1, bellamy for siding with pike and executing the grounders sent to protect them, pike for killing lincoln, finn for murdering a grounder village, charlotte for killing wells, bellamy for putting the idea of killing wells in charlotte’s head, kane for season 1, i absolutely hated jasper after mt weather cuz he became a complete dick after, jaha for every float he ordered, everyone on the counselors for sending the 100 prisoners to die, even raven has sent 4 welders to their death, lied about the radiation level and locked murphy in with them, shaw for locking the weapon system and letting raven and murphy get tortured for it, echo and emerson for blowing up mt weather with the skaikru in it, echo cheating in the conclave, killing ilian, echo trying to kill octavia on the cliff, echo for killing the real echo, raven for making and jasper for blowing up the bomb on the bridge to stop the grounders from attacking, ontari for killing all the night blood children (yes i know she is a villain but no one ever talks about her wrong doings), abby lying to raven so she can cure the prisoners, abby with her drug addiction, abby torturing raven with the shock collar, etc. but no one ever praises clarke for saving their lives over and over. SHE tested herself with night blood instead of emori, SHE was ready to let her own mother die if it meant saving the world from A.L.I.E, SHE put the flame in her head and stopped A.L.I.E. SHE gave cage and emerson every opportunity to end things peacefully so her friends could live but they (and lexa) forced her hand, SHE stayed behind and made sure there was power on the ark when they went up leaving herself in praimfaya. SHE told monty and bellamy to give her another choice at mt weather but they couldn’t. SHE saved jasper and finn’s lives. no one ever talks about what she’s lost, her dad, finn, lexa, her mother, her best friend and most of her other friends. she had to watch most of those deaths. she even had to watch her allies die in front of her, like anya. they’ve all got demons, they’ve all done things they aren’t proud of, some worse than others… but everyone seems to forgive each other, clarke forgives everyone, but no one forgives her. she gets hate for both, for killing the ones hurting her people or for not doing enough to save her people… and yet is always the person everyone goes to when they need saving, they just like to blame her for how she saves them

Congratulations this trailer is a work of art, unfortunately she had to make many questionable decisions because of her people and because of her lack of confidence in her, she always has to go overboard. You deserve a lot more viewers

Well, I don't think, that they made her villain. They made her miserable and took away everything from her. But in the end she wasn't the bad guy. Ot was expected i guess. She gave her people and world everything she have, so... I expected that.

Great edit. I’ll be honest the only reason I stuck with the show is for Bellemy, Murphy, Raven and Monty. I do like flawed characters but Clarke became too self righteous for me and when she killed Bellemy that was unforgivable.
